When an order is placed, if it has a custom request, I will 

take it into Photoshop an add the custom name or image to the PlayandDisplay unit.  It then goes to print, using a HP 12 cartridge ink plotter.  Printing 2 to 4 full color prints 36x24 using bright white 20lb bond paper. After that they are mounted on 1/2 in and 3/16 foamcore boards, that have all been precut for best fit for later cutting.  Then the boards are put into the VacuSeal for 2 min at 180 degrees at 28 ibs pressure.  Then the boards are put thur a double sided laminater. At 223 degrees at a 1.3 speed using 5 mil lamination.  Then the side and shelf and background boards are cut to their precise size with the wall mount cutter. Then we put the cut boards in the padded vice board grip for gluing and pressing on the plastic edge trim.

Which then the corners are all trimmed and hand sanded down. Final we attach the precut and painted support beams under the shelves, before we measure and mark for all the hand cutting for each individual shelf.

Then we double check all the work.  Then and only then is it ready to be wrapped and boxed, for shipping. With detailed instructions and a hand written personal note.

 

When I am not putting out orders I am designing new themed PlayandDisplays units Which take a week or more. But I am always updating them as I go.
